EARTH SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND POLICY SERVICES LIMITED

The Earth Science Technology and Policy Services (ESTEPS) is an independent, non-profit, non-government, policy, research, development, training and implementation organization working on sustainable development at local, regional, national and international areas. The ESTEPS was established in 2018 owing to become a leading research organization in the non-government sector. The ESTEPS encourages multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary in its approaches of running programs and projects by working under the following themes, Numerical Modeling, Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). It has a large group of national and international renowned senior professionals, scientists and researchers with many mid-level scientific staff.

The Earth Science Technology and Policy Services Limited started its journey in 2018 by a group of scientists, engineers and policy experts involved in innovative solution for management of the environmental risks and hazards. Their efforts began by addressing early warning, disaster mitigation, poverty reduction, environment degradation and enhancing socio-economic development leading to good governance with aims and objective of sustainable development. ESTEPS conducts studies in weather, hydrological and climate services in various sectors including livelihood, agriculture, health, industries, renewable energy and power generation and exploiting inland and oceanic resources. ESTEPS deeply feels the need for rigorous analysis of climate model results and generate tailor fitted scenarios suitable for applications in Bangladesh to adapt climate change impacts. Technology and knowledge smart expert of ESTEPS have begun their journey towards climate resilient and sustainable options for development.

ESTEPS is going to conduct training and academic courses and establish the center of excellence for R&D along with basic and higher education under an institutional arrangement to build capacity of human resources for adapting the future challenges of socio-economic transformation. ESTEPS will provide warning services to the Government Organizations (GO), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), academia, scientists, decision making authorities, insurance companies, river and marine navigators, aviators, power and energy sector, coal mining, oil and gas exploiters, sea ports, all kind of related industries and water related disaster management centers, authorities and other users for peaceful applications. To conduct and manage seminar, conferences, workshop and training courses for enhancing skills and expertise of the young generation. ESTEPS will conduct baseline surveys concerning economic, social, infrastructural, health, agricultural, forestry, fisheries and educational development.
